Do you have a passion for Dog Training, have you had proven experience training dogs (Agility,Obedience etc) do you have the ability and knowledge to assist with taking group classes? Yes! then you maybe the right person to join our team.  

 

Dogs Galore is a farm-based dog training, daycare and grooming facility in Puketotara (10 minutes south of Pirongia, 25 minutes from Te Awamutu), and we are hiring!  

 

This position includes helping with the day to day operations of the business. Part of your job will be picking up and dropping off dogs once at base you will be helping with our “Who ate all the cookies” puppy program as well as pack management and on occasion helping in our grooming area.  You would be assisting with our puppy pre-school classes and any future workshops, classes and with any day stay and train dogs.  

 

We are a small team and are all dedicated to the satisfaction of our clients both two and four-legged. 

 

You will need good communication and time management skills and be able to think on your feet. The position can be physically demanding so the ideal applicant needs to be physically fit and able. 

 

Applicants will preferably reside in Te Awamutu or surrounds, as there is the potential for a work van to be taken home in future. 

 

A Full Clean drivers license is essential and you must be willing to undergo a police check. 

 

Hours can be discussed with the successful applicant.
