FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I come see your facilities?
Absolutely! Just send us an email and we’ll sort a mutually agreed time for you to come visit.
Do you offer dog boarding?
Unfortunately, no. While we do offer overnight stays to our current daycare clients, this is on a case-by-case basis. As we don’t have kennels set up, the dogs stay with Vickie and Mark in their home. It’s important that we know the dogs well, and if they will fit in with their personal pack of dogs.
My dog hasn’t been desexed, can they come to daycare?
We require all dogs over the age of 1 year old to be desexed, and reserve the right to remove them from daycare should the exhibit problem behaviours before this age. Please check out our blog on this topic for more info! Click here.
I’m only in town for a short period, do you offer casual daycare?
Regrettably, no. As we operate off a waiting list, our vans are already full and we are unable to take on casual clients.
What happens if my dog gets sick or injured?
While all care is taken to ensure dogs are safe and healthy during their stay with us, we are also well-prepared for unexpected accidents or illness. If an incident occurs, we will contact you (or your contact person) and if necessary, will take your dog immediately to either our local veterinary practice.
How long is your waitlist?
This is a hard question to answer! Usually, we don’t see a change in numbers unless a client moves away. Our waitlist is not operated off a ‘first in, first-served basis’, as there are several criteria that need to be considered when taking on new clients (size of dog, what day we have available, and location! Sometimes we may have a spot free up, but only in a particular van). We wish we had space for everyone!
