Yay! We've been given the go-ahead from the government to resume services (with a few changes).

Daycare will resume Monday 11th May, 2020

We have sent out details on our new contactless pick up / delivery service. Please email us if you have not received this update! If we don't have an acknowledgement of our new procedures, we cannot pick up your pooch.

What will the new pickup/delivery service look like?

Well, it means although we can't wait to see you- we don't want to 'see' you. It is important that you stay safe and distances from us. Feel free to wave at us from behind the window, but please don't pop out to say hello when we arrive to pick up your dogs!

If you are usually home during pickup/drop off

Please ensure that your pooch is ready to go when the van arrives. They can either be waiting in the yard, in a crate at the front door, or tied by the front door. We are giving you the option to ask your driver to text you 5-10 minutes before they arrive, so you know when your pooch needs to be out front.

Drop off will look much the same- we will drop your dog into your yard/crate/tie out and knock on the door to let you know that they’re home!

Council/Oto Pickups

Please remain in your car and wave out to our driver. The driver will come and collect your pooch on one of our leashes and take them to the van.

If you aren’t usually home during pickup/drop off

Not much will change in terms of your pickups! However, we will be letting you know who is collecting your pooch for your own records, so you know who has been on the property.

If you, or someone in your bubble has been feeling sick…

Please let us know! Even just a quick text to your driver, to let them know not to pick up fluffy. Our usual cancellation policy will not apply in this situation- we just need to know as soon as possible as we cannot take your pooch to school if someone in the household has been or is starting to feel sick.

Stay safe everyone and be sure to wash your hands. We cannot wait to see your pooches again!

Yesterday, the Government announced the extension of Level 4 until 11.59PM Monday 4th May 2020, then moving into level 3 for two weeks.

As New Zealand moves forward into level 3 restrictions, here’s what this means for Dogs Galore:

- Our stance is clear and simple; we will not risk client or staff health to open early. Dogs Galore will only resume services once we move into Level 2.

- This includes our daycare, grooming, sleepovers and training services.

We understand that your circumstances may have changed while we face this unprecedented time, and wish to support you in any way that we can!

To our current clients:

If you wish to resume daycare as usual once we open, please register here:

Should you need to change anything about your service, please let us know here:

Stay safe everyone and be sure to wash your hands.

March 23rd 2020

To all our valued clients and precious doggy friends,

As New Zealand moves forward into level 4 restrictions, here’s what this means for Dogs Galore:

- Dog’s Galore will temporarily shut down, effective Tuesday 24th March 2020.

- This includes our daycare, grooming, sleepovers and training services.

- You will not be charged during our shut down services. Automatic payments may be suspended or will be credited against your account for future use.

- We will let you know when our doors will open again- we are crossing our paws and fingers that the restrictions work to curb the spread of this virus, and the Level 4 will be after 4 weeks.

- Please give all your pooches and extra snuggle and kiss from us. Keep an eye on our Facebook page; with all this spare time to train your dogs, could this mean the chance for some competitions!?

Stay safe everyone and be sure to wash your hands.

Best regards,
Vickie and Mark Wilson & The Dogs Galore Team
